At Woodside their first priority now, and always has been, the animals they care for.
As one of the top-performing RSPCA re-homing centres with one of the lowest animal return rates in the UK, Woodside take in, care for and re-home hundreds of unwanted, local animals that arrive at their gates every year. Even though they assist RSPCA Inspectors, they are a completely self-funded charity and are only able to raise funds for the charity within the Leicestershire and Rutland area. Generating the funds to run the animal centre is an enormous challenge every year but you can help, and here’s how…
We are looking for volunteers!
We are always on the search for volunteers but this time we need your help to get the word out! Our Melton Mowbray charity shop is in need of volunteers, they are looking for a friendly person to help in the shop processing donations. The shop has had some fabulous donations recently and all sales help fund the day-to-day running of the animal centre, making them a huge part of the Woodside family. If you are interested in volunteering at Woodside and being a vital part of our team then please contact Lydia Hallam on: Phone: 0116 224 2437 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
