These last few months have been a busy time for the Kazzoo lot. We’ve been up to a lot of networking and business development along with our heroic endeavours in IT services!
Working with companies from around the local area has proven to me what a difference chipping in and offering a bit of help and support to those around you can make. The unexpected success of LCFC has only spurred me on to go even further with this idea.
I have involved myself and Kazzoo in a number of events that have brought great local companies together in fantastic ways.
Rob Bracken at Leicester Racecourse always puts on a brilliant event. Whether it’s corporate or for the public, the racecourse consistently delivers and works with companies within the area. We love that they work with companies like Steamin’ Billy and Big Daddies Diner and so we show them our support by enjoying days out at the racecourse. We recently had a table at Ladies Day where I took ten of my clients with me, and the hospitality as usual, was excellent.
Another highlight of the past few months has been sponsoring the Niche Magazine business Awards. As category sponsor for ‘Independent Retail’ I have been involved with showcasing the awards and getting to know even more local companies. Jenny, who runs the awards, and her team have truly put in so much effort to bring so many businesses together throughout the year to celebrate local achievements. Kazzoo had a great night announcing the semi-finalists in July!
In September I look forward to holding my own event as a way to get more local firms in one place to celebrate and raise money for Hope against Cancer. It’ll be a charity curry night in connection with Niche Magazine that will bring all kinds of industries and personalities together to play some good old traditional pub games and tuck into a lovely curry.
Join us on Thursday 1st September 7-11pm at Parcel Yard, 48 London Road, £15pp.
We look forward to seeing you there!
