Stunning new art Gallery in the fashionable ‘Lanes’ area of Leicester to be opened by the gallery’s guest artist Lhouette – one of the most prestigious Street artists of our day

The doors of the gallery will open on 15th October with its ‘official’ grand gallery opening on Saturday 12th November 2016 with Lhouette in attendance. Oberon Gallery sits among the many specialist boutique and unique stores in this wonderful conservation area. The space at No. 27 Loseby Lane has been transformed after sitting empty for a number of years and enhances the sophistication of the already well appointed ‘lanes’ village in the centre of Leicester.

Lhouette’s work sells to the rich and famous and there is a waiting list for his original pieces. Having recently secured an exhibition next February at the prestigious 45 Park Lane in the centre of London’s fashionable Mayfair, his artworks are becoming even more sought after by art collectors.

The opening exhibit will highlight the works of an array of high profile contemporary artists including Lhouette with his post urban glamour themes. Andre Protsouk, a leading international artist with his followers and collectors around the globe. Leigh Lambert, the accomplished ‘Geordie’ artist evokes memories and nostalgia that so many can relate to, has waiting lists for his original artwork, but his selection of Limited Edition prints will be showcased. Edward Waite and his fast, fluid style in which he works is evident in each and every one of his pieces, echoing the buzz and bustle of city life and the famous Jean Picton well known for her many appearances in British TV adverts and shows including the popular 1980’s Hi-de-Hi. These are a small taster of the artworks that will be displayed in the gallery.

Oberon bring a mix of sought after pieces ranging from elegance and sophistication through to whimsical naive works, collections of bold, powerful and moody statement pieces, changing seasons, cool calm pastels and vibrant post urban glamour.

They are delighted to showcase their works in a relaxed and unpretentious manner allowing you to feel at ease as you browse.
