Situated in the leafy suburbs just minutes from the city centre, the Nottingham Tennis Centre will once again play host to this prestigious pre-Wimbledon tournament, with Britain’s very own Johanna Konta leading the way for the women. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) today announced the exciting news that World No.10 Konta will be playing at Nottingham this year. Speaking about the announcement, Konta said, “The tournament in Nottingham is very well supported and I always enjoy my time there. Nottingham’s a fun city to explore and with both women’s and men’s tournaments in the same week, the Nottingham fans will have a great time supporting what could be an exciting festival of tennis.” Early bird tickets go on sale on today, with a £5 discount applicable for adult Centre Court tickets purchased before Thursday 4th May. Kids go free on qualifying weekend (10th-11th June) and adult tickets are just £5, so families can enjoy a fun-filled day of tennis and watch some of the world’s top players compete for their place in the tournament.
