MERCURE DAVENTRY COURT HOTEL & SPA COMPLETES EXTENSIVE RENOVATION
The refurbished property celebrates the local waterways and reservoirs of Northamptonshire with its new design aesthetic
Mercure Hotels has now completed an extensive bedroom and spa renovation at its Daventry Court Hotel & Spa. Tastefully refurbished, the impressive four-star property has upgraded 155 guest rooms and en-suite bathrooms to reflect the area’s beautiful natural environment.
Daventry is home to a wealth of natural waterways, with the Oxford canal running just a couple of hundred yards away from the hotel. This historic river flows from the Oxford Thames into the Union Canal, right through the nearby Braunston tunnel. The lovely Braunston Marina, just a short drive from the hotel, has also inspired the design which reflects the colours of the waterways.
The newly updated bedrooms take inspiration from nature and the surrounding reservoirs; subtly translated through textures, patterns and colour tones. The bedrooms offer a light and airy décor which is complemented by striking wall art, designed to reflect the open grasslands nearby.
New 42-inch flat screen TVs and new beds have also been incorporated within the refurbishment; improving the overall guest experience with a natural linen look and feel, in line with environmental ethos and initiatives set in place by the brand. All guest bathrooms have also been updated to include refreshed tiling, with the addition of rain-showers incorporated throughout.
The hotel has 155comfortable bedrooms for guests to choose from including doubles, twins and 14 inter-connecting rooms. As part of the overall re-design, Privilege rooms include fridges, Nespresso coffee machines, bathrobes and enhanced amenities such as larger 47” flat screen TVs - perfect for those looking for a little added luxury.
A well-equipped fitness centre is available for guests looking to work up a sweat during their stay, featuring a wide range of cardio machines and free weights as well as a fantastic indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and spa for leisure use.
Having just added three brand new treatment rooms to the Spa Naturel facilities, guests can choose from a wide range of relaxing experiences and wellness packages to enhance their stay – from massages to facials or mini pamper days with lunch included. Personalised consultations are also available to book with the hotel’s own spa therapists, ensuring that every treatment is tailored to guests needs and offering a wide range of bespoke options for those looking to unwind.
Further hotel amenities also include The Fuel Bar and Restaurant, inspired by the local Silverstone Race Track which can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car.
Situated just a short three mile drive from the local town of Daventry and Mercure Daventry Court Hotel & Spa makes a perfect choice for leisure travellers or business guests. With an established bar and restaurant plus excellent leisure facilities, the hotel is also an excellent hub for those visiting Northamptonshire and the local area.
