A leader in pop-up restaurant experiences, The Art of Dining will bring their sold-out and immersive Operation Red Rocket event to the festival this August Bank Holiday Weekend.

Friday Supper Club 2017 – Gizzi Erskine Presents:

Supper Club will return for the fourth year running this Friday 25th August, transforming The Big Feastival's NEFF Big Kitchen theatre into a beautiful Al Fresco dining space for guests to enjoy dinner and drinks at sunset.

The Friday night Supper Club will be hosted by Gizzi Erskine who has rallied up some of the best chefs from across the UK to curate the menu, inspired by Eastern coastal countries of the Mediterranean. In a nod to the supporting charity Help Refugees, Gizzi has asked chefs to base menus using ingredients from the Greece, Syria, Turkey, Egypt and Libya.

Robin Gill has brought his innovative and creative style, refined under the expert tutelage of Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc, to the starter. The pioneer of London's high-end barbecue scene, Neil Rankin, reminds diners why he is well known for his use of bold flavours with the main course.

Jack Stein, heir to his father Rick's empire and executive chef of Stein restaurants, supplies a main course. Sophie Michell, one of the UK's most talented young chefs and renowned author, provides the dessert.

Tickets to the Friday Supper Club are £90 and include all food and drink. The profits will be donated to Help Refugees.

The Art of Dining: Operation Red Rocket

The Big Feastival will partner with The Art of Dining to host the space-exploration-themed immersive feast, Operation Red Rocket, following the incredible success of last year's 'Fairy Tale Feast'.

Having already sold-out across London, The Big Feastival represents an exclusive opportunity for foodie-lovers to taste the epic international three-course menu that's destined to be out of this world. Provided by our peers from the international space community, the delicious menu will be inspired by Israel, Russia and China.

Cuisine chemist Ellen Parr developed her skills as a space chef at restaurant of the future Moro, before embarking on a mission to explore South East Asia and India to collect important data on cooking methods, techniques and flavours.

Led by Professor June Cavendish, diners at The Big Feastival will enjoy the rare opportunity of taking a step into the extraordinary world of an astronaut cadet undergoing scientific experimentation, competing to become the lucky candidate sent to colonise Mars.

Designed for the entire family to enjoy, the immersive dining experience includes music, commentary and a series of challenges, quizzes and creative tasks.
