New app 'Capacity' launches in Leicester

Never again will you be concerned about how full or empty the bar is before you arrive as new app Capacity tells you its level of fullness via a percentage before you even leave the house!

If you’re looking for a quiet night out, or more of a crazy one, the Capacity app will guide you in the right direction (literally – it has built in satellite navigation to get you to your selected destination as well as what the parking in the area is like at the time!).

The official launch of the Leicester Capacity app will take place Friday 29th September and you’re all invited! Head down to The Parcel Yard for a live band and complimentary beer or wine on arrival! Download the free Capacity app now in preparation for this big night out and show it to the bar staff for your free beverage.

The number of venues continues to grow as its creator, 35-year-old Loughborough University student Lee Quinn, gets all sorts of social gathering spots on the Capacity map.

Here are just two of the most recent additions and why we love them.

The Parcel Yard

48a London Road, Leicester, LE2 0QB

About: The Steamin’ Billy Parcel Yard pub is right next door to Leicester Train Station providing relaxed surroundings, with plenty on offer including a great selection of real ales, fine wines, craft beers and a quality menu with something for everyone - all day brunch, coffees, and fantastic lunches and evening meals.

We’re loving: That The Parcel Yard restaurant can be sectioned off for birthday parties and other get-togethers.

The Locker Room

5-11 Belvoir Street, Leicester, LE1 6SL

About: The Locker Room Sports Bar & Pool Lounge has reserved its place in the heart of Leicester City Centre with a modern bespoke bar 'Eat, Drink & Play' in the unique sporting atmosphere. Serving craft beer, cocktails and a variety of spirits, chicken wings, hot dogs and pizza while you play American pool, ping pong and beer pong, The Locker Room will provide you with an entertaining yet relaxed sporting experience.

We’re loving: The Locker Room’s ‘Hot Dog & Pint’ night every Thursday for £7
