Law Firm raises awareness of Prostate Cancer

Last April Josiah Hincks were delighted to have been awarded the accolade of Small Law Firm of the Year by the Leicestershire Law Society at a spectacular “The Greatest Show” themed event which took place at Athena. The award is testament to the continued growth of Josiah Hincks, which celebrated its 90th birthday last year.

But Josiah Hincks also received a special mention. In our latest issue we feature a sufferer of prostate cancer and his journey highlighting the importance of men's health checks. The firm was recognised by Leicestershire Law Society for raising a significant amount of money during the silent auction which took place on the night, the proceeds of which were donated to PROSTaid, a local independent prostate cancer charity.

During the last five years, by nurturing willing staff to grow and develop and by recruiting the best legal advisors, Josiah Hincks has grown to a five partner firm, doubling our size in turnover and staff and increasing our presence in the County with five offices.

It's due to firms like this raising funds and awareness and being recognised at large business events, that illnesses such as prostate cancer are brought into the public eye.

The continued growth of Josiah Hincks reflects its vision to be the very best example of a county law firm; providing expert and specialist advice on matters, at affordable rates and offering access to justice to those in need.

The specialist team of lawyers continue to act for a number of high profile businesses in the region, including Leicester Tigers, Breedon Group, Cambridge & Counties Bank and East Coast Fittings, along with a number of small- medium sized businesses, typically owner managed, between £5-10m, across a wide range of sectors.
