Leicestershire Promotions has received a record number of applications for this year’s Leicestershire Tourism & Hospitality Awards. Now in its 8th year, the awards are aimed at finding the best tourism businesses in Leicestershire and this year, around 100 businesses have submitted over 190 applications for the various categories.
There are 25 categories in the 2018 awards including several new categories - Best Cocktail; Best Customer Service; Innovation in Marketing; Best Night Out; Best Shopping Experience; and Best Outdoor Experience.
Shortlisted businesses will now be independently judged and the selected finalists will be announced in early November 2018, ahead of the awards ceremony will be held at Athena in Leicester on 29 November 2018. Tables at the ceremony can be booked here.
