Focus Charity is a young peoples' charity that works with some of the City's most vulnerable young people, to develop their self-confidence, self-esteem and aspirations. Focus transforms young people’s lives through inspiring and empowering projects and volunteering opportunities that improve local communities. Founded in 1988, the charity has supported almost 20,000 young people.
Aleena is a highly experienced, Chartered HR professional who brings 15 years of progressive experience, working with businesses across a range of industries.
Aleena says: “I am thrilled to be taking on this role at FOCUS and I look forward to working with the fantastic team to champion and improve the experience of young people and opportunities available to them. I’m passionate about helping our future generation, so they have access and receive the necessary skills and confidence to achieve their aspirations and FOCUS do a fantastic job of changing lives through running various projects to support young people. I’m looking forward to sharing my experience to support the team and give something back to hopefully make a real difference.”
