The Falcon is a quintessential country pub set in the idyllic village of Long Whatton in Leicestershire - It is a beautiful building that anyone would be proud to call home.
Many may be sceptical about taking such a big leap in this current climate, but Everards are supporting all their business owners to make sure they come through this stronger than ever and more importantly together.
“Everards have been absolutely amazing by cancelling rent and putting any trade invoices on hold until further notice. The Everards team has constantly kept in touch making sure we are OK and offering help and support wherever they can. We just can’t wait for things to go back to normal; roll on the opening party!!!!!” says Laura, business owner of the Horseshoes pub in Nuneaton.
The Falcon has all the character and warmth you would expect from a traditional country inn. On entry you are greeted by the cosy main bar, which leads through to the lovely dining area, and upstairs you will find the recently refurbished extended dining room. This can also be used as a small, private function room as it comes complete with its own bar, making it a fantastic space to celebrate those special moments. Along with its great food and drink offering, it also has 11 rooms which have been lovingly decorated for a home from home experience.
The pub is at the heart of the community, boasting characterful regulars who have continued to support the pub over several years. Close by there is Donnington Racetrack, which holds a number of large-scale events throughout the year. East Midlands Airport is also within close proximity to the pub. This pub is popular with tourists, as well as businesspeople and the locals – you really do get a good mixture of people and life at The Falcon.
So, if you are looking to put your roots down in a rural Leicestershire village and have the added bonus of private letting rooms then come and take a look at The Falcon - you won't be disappointed.
Do you think you could be at the hub of your community and ready to make a change to the rural ways of country life? Perhaps the Falcon could be your next business venture.
