Six Steamin’ Billy team members returned yesterday from a 350km bikeride through Holland in a challenge to raise money for the Matt Hampson Foundation.
The team included Steamin’ Billy Managing Director Billy Allingham and his son Kipp Allingham along with Product & Stock Manager Craig Lines. They were joined by members of staff from Steamin’ Billy pubs, Ben Sawyer of The Cow & Plough, Daniel Wright of The Three Crowns and Jemma Ford of The Horse & Trumpet.
Setting off on an overnight ferry on Sunday the the group arrived in The Hague Monday morning. After completing 150km on day one the team arrived in Arnhem on Monday evening. After a night of rest and sampling some of the local beer the second day saw them take in the sights cycling from Arnhem to Amsterdam. An overnight stay in the Capital and they took on the third and final part of the trip cycling from Amsterdam back to The Hague on Wednesday.
This year Steamin Billy have selected the Matt Hampson Foundation as their chosen charity, the team have raised a fantastic £3000 on the European Bike Ride to go towards the Foundation.
