Cartwright King Race Day

August 23, 2016

2016 has been a success for Cartwright King Solicitors. It is a year which has seen the firm develop an already thriving legal firm by hiring 46 new employees and unveil an office in Worcester. The latter achievement now takes the offices tally to 19, boasting an impressive geographical reach from Newcastle to London. Considering that Cartwright King was founded in 2000 at their head office in Nottingham, this has represented major development for the firm.

It is Cartwright King’s core values that have contributed to their success but as the firm grows larger, the trait of remaining ‘team-orientated’ is more difficult to uphold. Due to this, they hold an annual ‘Race Day’ every summer, where all its offices are closed and every member of staff are brought together for an informal outing at a respective racecourse. The day is a ‘thank you’ for their hard work and has proven the importance of team bonding while maintaining that the firm encourages the ethos of including everyone as part of the ‘CK Family’.

This year’s ‘Race Day’ is held at Leicester Racecourse where all staff members – from directors to apprentices – can watch the horse racing, be treated to food and drink and most importantly, enjoy the day as a team. Previous Race Days have been held at Nottingham, Southwell and Uttoxeter Racecourses and have been met with such appreciation that they are recognised as a yearly highlight for the firm.

Cartwright King’s CEO, Rupert Hawke said:
“We are immensely proud that Cartwright King continues to grow and it is because of each staff member that we are able to stand out and flourish. Their outstanding hard work has led to our success.

“Race Day is a golden opportunity to acknowledge and reward their endeavours while highlighting that they are very much a part of the ‘CK Family’. We make it a priority to not only be a law firm, but one that cares about both its clients and staff.
“We thank everyone at Cartwright King for their continued support and look forward to a bright future!”
