Bright future for local firm as they hire master Chartered Engineer
Construction specialists PRP UK Limited, are eagerly looking ahead to a bright future after recently appointing Dan Edwards as a Director after just six months of employment as an Associate with the company. The promotion is to benefit PRP by enhancing their first class level of service.
Dan joined the team in Leicester, broadening the existing skillset to enhance their top rate engineering consultancy services.
Dan said: “PRP Leicester has a fantastic team and an exciting forward workload. We are looking to grow substantially and combine the latest technology with our large in house engineering knowledge to ensure we are the engineering consultants of choice in the east midlands.”
The experienced Chartered Engineer graduated in 2008 with a first class Master’s degree from The University of Leeds in Civil and Structural Engineering. Upon his return to Leicester where he was born and raised, Dan found employment with a multi-disciplinary consultancy where, over 5 years he took a lead role in the design and management of various engineering projects.
Dan became Chartered in 2013 and was offered a position with a top construction firm in New Zealand where he worked on large scale projects such as the seismic strengthening of the Majestic Centre, Wellington’s tallest building and construction of New Zealand’s first smart motorway.
Dan’s career path has gained him a wealth of experience in a busy consultancy in the UK and in construction overseas and has since lead him to the esteemed Consulting Engineer and Surveyors PRP UK, who are excited to have him as member of their executive team.
