The Real Entrepreneurs Club is one of Leicestershire’s premier forums for entrepreneurs to meet, discuss and share ideas on how to drive business and develop ideas.
The bi-annual event was held on Tuesday 2nd April at the Queen Victoria Arts Club this year. Launched in 2016, the Club has various events with speakers in attendance, to encourage and support entrepreneurialism and provide investors and entrepreneurs with new business contacts and ideas.
The guest speaker at the event was Shahid Sheikh OBE, Managing Director of Clifton Packaging Ltd. He said:
“It was an honour to be invited to speak at the Real Entrepreneurs Club - a fantastic group of people from various business backgrounds but all who believe in the power of networking and to share these perfect knowledge transfer opportunities. Every day is an opportunity to learn from one another and the Real Entrepreneurs Club is the perfect forum for this; no matter how big or small an enterprise, we all share the same passion to learn and to grow as we continue to aspire to inspire before we ultimately expire.”
Leanne Bonner-Cooke, founder and CEO of E-Bate and Evolve said: “The RE Club demonstrates how many entrepreneurs there are in Leicester and Leicestershire, we should be very proud of not only what we have achieved but also our city. Supporting and inspiring each other is the way to move forward. Thank you again to Jenny Cross and her team for pulling together such a good event.”
