Aqua Park Rutland is back with a splash and more family friendly than ever!

April 25, 2019

Splashing down for its fourth season, Aqua Park Rutland returns with a brand-new park layout, and for the first-time children from the age of six will be able to enjoy this super-soaking summer activity with their family.

Open from 25th May 2019, the Aqua Park located at Rutland Water near Leicestershire, now measures a staggering 100m by 80m, creating more space for thrill seeking families, students, sports teams and fitness groups.

This year, visitors can plummet from the giant slides or experience free fall from a 5.6m drop on the UK’s tallest obstacle, The Rutland Mammoth. Still the only Aqua Park in the UK to take on the Tornado Tower, adventurous visitors can have fun testing out their flips and tricks.

Simon James, Co-Founder of Aqua Park Rutland comments: “I can’t wait for people to see the new layout, it really is a park for everyone to enjoy. The redesign means that families with children from the age of six now have more opportunity to enjoy the park together on any session.

“This is our fourth season, and tickets are already in high demand so I would advise those looking to join us this summer to book in advance.”

Plus, with Aqua Park Rutland’s new offer for corporate day packages, local businesses can benefit from the splash-tastic fun too. The park’s corporate offers give businesses an opportunity to purchase cost-effective day packages for a team building or an alternative work social.

Created and designed by Midlands sports activity management specialists Aqua Parks Group Limited, for the last four years Aqua Park Rutland has been developed in close consultation with Anglian Water who own and operate Rutland Water. As one of the Midlands most popular outdoor destinations Aqua Park Rutland has been designed to complement and add further excitement to Rutland Water’s existing outdoor activity offer which includes kayaking, cycling, windsurfing and sailing.

Aqua Park Rutland opens for its fourth season on Saturday 25 May, but due to the high interest already received, visitors are encouraged to pre-book here to avoid disappointment. Tickets for the park are priced at £20 off-peak and £22 peak for a 50-minute session.

As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Rutland need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged six and over, 1.2m tall and able to swim 25 metres to take part. Buoyancy aids are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.
