A village pub in Glenfield will be opening its doors on Tuesday, July 28 with online booking available now.
The independent village pub The Forge Inn in Main Street, Glenfield, which is part of the Beautiful Pubs collective, has been closed during lockdown. General Manager Heather Jones, said: "Both myself and the team cannot wait to welcome you, your friends and family back to our independent village pub, offering a beautiful yet safe destination for everyone to enjoy great drinks & freshly prepared food served with passion and flair. "During our period of closure we have been really busy refurbishing our pub inside and out, with freshly decorated walls, new upholstery and shiny polished floors, in addition our Head Chef David and his team have developed delicious new menus for you to enjoy. "Whilst we are extremely excited to be reopening, our number one commitment remains the welfare of our team and guests as we all take these first steps together.
"We want you to have an amazing time and we want to help you do this with confidence. To this end, we have completely rewritten our guest journey as well as developed new ways of working in order to respond to our risk assessments based on the advice and guidance provided by government, the industry bodies we are members of and our appointed safety consultants."
