Space shuttle veteran Don Thomas is coming to Leicester.
Have you ever wanted to have breakfast with an astronaut? How about asking them whatever you want to know about life in space?
On June 9, Don Thomas, a veteran of four Space Shuttle missions, will be welcomed by The National Space Centre for breakfast and Q&A sessions, with opportunity for photos and autographs.
Thanks to the team at Inspire Space, ticketholders will be able to join him for a special astronaut-themed breakfast burrito (with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available,) then ask him any questions you have about him and his career as an astronaut.
Want to learn how a woodpecker prevented a space shuttle launch, or how the All-Ohio Space Shuttle mission went? There will be the opportunity to pick up a copy of Don's book, a first hand account of the STS-70 mission, as well as to get it signed by him on the day. You will also have the option to bring your own item for him to sign.
With Inspire Space’s photographer, you will be able to grab a photo with Don, printed and delivered during the session for you to take away and keep.
For more information, or to purchase a ticket, visit the Space Centre's website.
