Few bands capture the raw heartbeat of live music quite like the Foo Fighters, and in 2026, they’re bringing that unmistakable energy back to Europe — and to Liverpool’s iconic Anfield Stadium for two unforgettable nights of sound, sweat, and shared emotion.

The Take Cover Tour: Rock’s Big Return to Europe

After weeks of speculation, mysterious teasers, and an FF logo lighting up the Anfield stands, the band has confirmed their Take Cover Tour 2026, marking their first major European and UK run since 2024’s record-breaking Everything or Nothing at All tour.

The six-piece — Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin — will storm 12 European cities next summer, with only two exclusive UK shows on 25 and 27 June 2026, both taking place at Anfield, the spiritual home of British stadium anthems.

Liverpool Awaits: Two Nights of Rock Legacy

Liverpool, a city already synonymous with musical revolutions, will once again open its gates to a global audience. Following historic performances from Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen, Anfield’s summer stage will now echo with Foo Fighters’ electric riffs and anthemic choruses.

For two nights, thousands of fans from across continents will gather to sing along to hits that shaped a generation — from Everlong and The Pretender to Times Like These and Best of You. Each concert promises to be a communal outburst of energy and nostalgia, reminding us why live music remains one of the last truly unifying experiences in modern culture.

The Soundtrack of a Generation

Across three decades, Foo Fighters have become more than a band; they are a constant companion to the soundtrack of modern life. With 15 Grammy Awards, eleven acclaimed albums, and an unparalleled touring reputation, they’ve turned every stage into a celebration of endurance and emotion.

Their recent single, Asking for a Friend — a hypnotic and blistering return to form — hints at a band still hungry, still pushing boundaries. It follows Today’s Song, another chart-topper that reaffirmed Grohl’s unique ability to blend vulnerability with power. The upcoming tour takes that momentum global, reigniting a bond between artist and audience forged in the chaos of guitars and the poetry of resilience.

Special Guests & New Energy

The Take Cover Tour 2026 isn’t just about nostalgia; it’s a platform for the next wave of live music energy. Support acts will rotate across Europe, including IDLES, Royel Otis, Inhaler, Otoboke Beaver, Fat Dog, and Die Spitz.

For Liverpool fans, each night offers its own lineup of fire and flavor. On 25 June, Inhaler and Otoboke Beaver will open the stage, while Royel Otis and Die Spitz will warm up the crowd on 27 June. Expect a night where new voices meet legends, proving that rock’s heartbeat is as strong as ever.
