Lane7 announces huge new outdoor space

The outdoor drinking and dining area can hold up to 400 people.

Lane7's new outdoor area in Leicester

Lane7's new outdoor area is set to become the place to be in Leicester city centre, with beer, cocktails and slushies flowing, and the only place to get a street food fix 7 days a week.

Lane7 opened in Leicester’s Central Station in October 2020, shaking up the city’s entertainment scene in the best possible way in the midst of the most difficult year.

We can now enjoy Leicester’s best street food and a fantastic drinks offering as Lane7 opens up a huge new 400 capacity outdoor space.

The extended area is located right next door to the venue on the adjacent car park and will feature its own bar, service from the resident street food traders and will even have cover to keep you dry on rainy days.

The mouth-watering line-up of food traders, which includes bao from Deckards, award-winning burgers from What’s Your Beef, and a fusion of flavours from Thai Express, will be serving seven days a week.

Adding to that line-up, in May Lane7 will welcome incredible Midlands’ foodies, The English Indian to their food court, serving up their award-winning Indian take on Fish & Chips every day.

It will coincide with the reopening of Yardbirds, serving their all American fried chicken, and the relaunch of all indoor activity, as Leicester’s biggest bowling alley and social gaming zone comes back to life.

Lane7’s existing outdoor areas, The Goods Yard and Jamie’s Lady Garden, will also be open for outdoor seating, taking the venue’s outdoor capacity to nearly 500 during April and May.

The Goods Yard and Jamie’s Lady Garden will both have outdoor TV screens showing live sport.

The venue will reopen on Monday 12 April and bookings can be made online now. They will be open on Monday - Thursday 3pm- late and Friday- Sunday 11am-late.
