Rewild yourself at Camp Fest Brook Meadow

Reconnect with nature, craft and wellbeing at Brook Meadow.

From mindful sunrise Yoga to reflexology workshops and wildflower walks in the woods it’s time to rewild yourself and the family over a day reconnecting with nature, craft and wellbeing at Brook Meadow.

 

Hosted in collaboration with La Fete Fleurie, the one-day Camp Fest event, which is only open to individuals, groups and families staying at the site costs £25* per person (children under 12 go free).

 

Included in the price of the tickets are a choice of wellness experiences which have all been chosen based on nature and the health benefits that can be gained by immersing ourselves in the natural world.

Commenting on the day Claire Hart, owner of Brook Meadow, said “By working with our hands, learning new techniques, and being open to new ideas and possibilities we can connect with our minds and bodies.


"We hope that this special weekend will inspire and invigorate all our guests to become absorbed in the process of making, listening, seeing, and tasting, with the freedom to explore their creativity and the natural world around them”.

More detailed sessions or treatments can be arranged at an additional price, including: reflexology treatments, plant meditation treatments, a more in-depth willow weaving workshop, and a hedgerow flower crown-making session.

 

Food and drinks will be available from local companies including La Fete Fleurie who will be serving refreshments from the pop-up Garden Café.

 

The day will close with an acoustic sunset music set, delicious wood-fired pizzas, freshly made to order and a camp cocktail bar.

 


Across the site there is a choice of camping and glamping accommodation available for the weekend of the festival including:

 

Camping options:

 

Non-electric camping pitches cost £26 Friday to Sunday or Electric camping pitches £36 Friday to Sunday. Cost includes one vehicle for 2 people and the pitch.  Based on a two-night minimum stay at weekends.

 

Glamping options:

 

The supremely glamorous Marabou Safari Glamping Lodge, with enough room for up to eight guests. Perched on timber stilts the two-storey Safari tent comes complete with chandeliers, a wood-burning oven, a generous king-size four-poster bed and a slipper bath. A three-night self-catering weekend stay costs £220 per night based on two people sharing. Add £15 per night per additional person, up to eight people. 

 

For the most romantic glamping experience the Sunbird safari bell tent with a King-size bed and solar powered lighting.  ​It is located next to Marabou with outdoor loungers, a BBQ and firepit. A two-night self-catering weekend stay costs £125 per night based on two people sharing.Add £10 per night per additional person, up to four people. 

 

A vintage 1960s Silverbird Airstream Caravan with a dinky space for two was added last year. Enjoy ‘dollshouse’ scale facilities with retro handpicked furnishings and accessories, and a rainbow roof covered decking area, outdoor kitchen and BBQ, and a hammock for lazy summer evenings overlooking the lake. A two-night self-catering weekend stay costs £125 per night.

 

In addition, there are a choice of cabins: Choose from the cosy 'Nuthatch' lakeside cabin, which is packed with luxurious botanical printed furnishings and chic styling.  A two-night weekend stay costs £95 per night based on two people staying.


Alternatively, opt for the contemporary boutique chic interiors of Woodpecker; the cabin-like exposed beams and cosy fireplace of Kingfisher or pet friendly Skylark with its pastel decor and spacious layout. A three-night weekend stay costs from £160 per night based on two people sharing. Add £15 per night per additional person, up to four people.
