The former Leicester Central Station will be its permanent home.
The first here-to-stay Leicester food court, has been put together by Leicester's new attraction Lane7, which opens next month.
A spokesperson for Lane7 commented: “The former “Goods Yard” area of the station is going to be an incredible feast of flavours and a foodie destination in its own right. At Lane7 we’re all about giving people a night to remember and the quality of these food traders certainly reflects that!”
Alongside bowling, gaming and late-night bars, Lane7 will also bring a tasty new dimension to the city's food offering.
Its owners have revealed the first traders who will be taking up residency in one of the city's most iconic buildings; Leicester Central Station.
Opening their kitchens alongside Lane7 will be Deckards, What’s Your Beef and Yardbirds. Covering a range of global cuisines, including incredible vegan options, the traders will be open sevens days a week for diners and takeaways.
Deckards specialises in Bao-Taiwanese Steamed Buns. It has Pan Asian influences melded with pop culture references and has earned an eager following of UK foodies.
A Deckards representative said: “We cannot wait to be slinging’ bao from Lane7’s new Leicester location! Bao, bowling and beer is something we can all get behind!”
Burger fans will be able to feast on proper grass-fed burgers from What’s Your Beef as the Manchester team bring their award-winning burgers to Lane7. There will also be vegetarian and vegan options.
