The Bubbleiscious sounds amazing!
Dessert Parlour Drizul will be opening in Clarendon Park Road this weekend on June 19.
Opening day also falls on the same day as the popular annual Clarendon Park Summer Fair in Queens Road.
Here they will be giving locals a first taste of their menu, handing out free samples and tasters to try. The fair will be held from 11am-5pm.
Dessert lovers will be able to enjoy a variety of ice creams in a cone, or tub, from their speciality gelato counter.
General Manager Phil stated: "We’re really excited to open our flagship dessert parlour in the heart of Clarendon Park.
"We wanted to make a dessert destination that not only compliments the local area, but one that would form part of the community and appeal to everyone.
"Whether you’re a group of friends needing a break from studying, treating yourself on the way home, or calling in with the kids on route to the park, we want Drizul to be your Daily Dose of Happiness."
Waffles will be made-to-order, served warm and come with a unique selection of toppings.
They've got ‘Banoffee Breeze’ which is sliced banana, Lotus Biscoff crumble, then drizuled with Lotus Biscoff sauce.
‘Oreo Cookie Crunch’ comes with Oreo crumble, pearl crunch and topped with Drizul’s signature cookies and cream sauce.
Their luxury milkshake’s are a blend of milk and gelato flavours, then topped with your favourite treats.
Highlights from the menu include the Chocolate Explosion, Cookie Monster, Raspberry Ripple and the Bubbleiscious.
Bubbleiscious uses milk blended with bubble gum and vanilla gelato, then topped with whipped cream, rainbow drops, enchanted sprinkles and bubblegum sauce.
Drizul’s menu will also accommodate those seeking gluten free alternatives, and all items will be vegetarian and egg free.
New menu items such as Waffle Sticks and Waffle Bites will be added over the coming weeks following the soft launch period as the team settle into their new roles
The passion behind the brand began in lockdown, when they realised there was a clear gap for a specialist dessert destination in the Clarendon Park area where people could enjoy a sweet treat, especially into the evening once the coffee shops had closed.
With a natural love for waffles and milkshakes themselves, the concept for Drizul was born.
The eye catching and contemporary shop front boasts huge sliding windows that can be opened to let the outside in during the warmer months.
Inside will feature a take-away area and a few dine-in tables. In the coming months they’ll also be introducing outdoor seating.
In addition to their signature waffles, milkshakes and gelato, Drizul will be supporting some local independents, initially offering cheesecakes, brownies and cakes from the family-run bakery, Positive Bakes.
Dessert fans will also be able to order their favourites to enjoy at home via Deliveroo, Justeat and UberEats.
