Fosse Park Extension to be home to new concept Next store

The third largest Next store in the UK will open in the Fosse Park extension on April 12 at 9am.

With its head office in Enderby and the much anticipated wait of the Fosse Park West shopping complex, it seems fitting that Next will treat Leicester people to a brand new concept store.

What's new

The store will host much-loved lifestyle concessions including Costa Coffee, Virgin Holidays and a brand new addition to the Next family: its first Waterstones concession.

The introduction of different digital formats throughout the store adds movement, improving the customer journey and encourages the customer to explore. Enhanced customer service touch points are at the forefront; such as additional fitting rooms, till points and customer collection stations, all adding to a connected store environment.

Fosse Park West's Next will be fitted with beautiful ‘boutique’ inspired fitting rooms for customers to fully enjoy trying items on; as well as the first ‘Home Fragrance Room’ from Next, which allows customers the full home-fragrance experience. The room will house 32 of Next's best-selling fragrances and feature fully interactive technology, for the customer to learn and discover their personal preferences.

Children's wear has been increased by four ties the size of its previous Leicester store, and the home department by 25%. Both areas have had a contemporary refresh and will be much more spacious for shoppers.

Next Store Manager, Megan Kay, said: “We are very excited for customers to explore and enjoy the new concessions available; including Virgin Holidays, as well as the first Waterstones concession at Next. Customers can also treat themselves to a handcrafted coffee from the nation’s favourite coffee shop, Costa Coffee.’’

Yuli Thompson - Senior Vice President at Virgin Atlantic Holidays commented on his exitement about the opening of Virgin's new retail concession in the new Next Fosse Park West store.

Waterstones, Bookshop Manager Louise Walker, said: “To be part of Fosse Park's brilliant redevelopment is an exciting prospect and we are looking forward to making the most of our new partnership with Next."
