2025 means two weeks instead of one!

Calling all foodies! Leicester Restaurant Week (LRW) is back – and this year it’s bigger, better, and bursting with twice as much flavour.
Running for two delicious weeks, from Monday 20 October to Sunday 2 November, there will be even more time to experience the best of Leicester’s dynamic food and drink scene.
BID Director, Simon Jenner, commented: "We’re thrilled to be bringing back Leicester Restaurant Week later this year, with even more time for people to enjoy the incredible food and drink Leicester has to offer.
"Whether you're keen to try something new or support your go-to spot, LRW is a celebration of the city’s thriving hospitality scene – and with the new cooking demos at Leicester Food Festival, we’re giving people even more of a taste of what makes Leicester such a great food destination."
Returning for LRW 2025: Arts Greek Cuisine
Now in its fifth year, Leicester Restaurant Week has become an unmissable event on the city’s culinary calendar, giving diners the opportunity to explore cuisine from around the world discovering new favourites, and revisiting beloved local haunts across the city’s vibrant food scene.
From budget-friendly bites to indulgent three-course menus, LRW offers a chance to enjoy exclusive dining experiences and one-off deals across Leicester’s culinary hotspots.
So far, 32 venues have confirmed their participation, with more to be added as the weeks progress. The 2025 line-up includes:
Varanasi, Giggling Squid, The Gresham Bar & Restaurant, Middletons, My Delhi, Bistrot Pierre, Casa Romana, Curve, Frame, 1573 Bar & Grill, Pho, Desi Street Food, Phoenix, Veeno, Queen of Bradgate, Arts Greek Cuisine, Cosy Club, Maki & Ramen, Kayal, Herb, Turtle Bay, The Globe, Revolution, La Fontana, Watsons, Merchant of Venice (Loseby Lane & Granby Street), Esquires, La Maison, La SMASHED, Latin Kitchen and Slim Chickens.
Ahead of the main event, food fans can get a flavour of Leicester Restaurant Week early with live cooking demos at Leicester Food Festival, taking place this Saturday (9 August) in Abbey Park.
Expect mouth-watering inspiration as chefs from Pho and Sonrisa showcase signature dishes, joined by Leicester’s own celebrity chef, Kwoklyn Wan. This new partnership between Leicester Restaurant Week and Leicester Food Festival aims to celebrate local culinary talent and whet appetites for what’s to come in October.
