'The Music Diet and how it could benefit your business’ is free to attend.
PPL PRS the Leicester-based music licensing organisation are teaming up with neuroscientist, Dr Julia Jones (aka 'Dr Rock') to host an event during this year’s Leicester Business Festival.
The event titled, ‘The Music Diet and how it could benefit your business’ is free to attend and is taking place at the PPL PRS Leicester city centre HQ, between 3.30pm-5pm, on Thursday, November 7.
It's 1 of 70 events being held between November 4-15 for Leicester Business Festival.
At The Music Diet and how it could benefit your business, business professionals will have the opportunity to understand the health and wellbeing benefits of playing music in the workplace.
It has been designed to entertain and to encourage guests to think about wellbeing in the workplace differently.
Aimed at anyone who is interested in improving their health and the health of their workforce, it allows attendees to learn about the benefits of music in a professional setting.
Dr Julia Jones, who has worked with PPL PRS for a number of years on the positive effect music can have in the workplace, and the benefits of music for peri- and menopausal symptoms, is a leading expert in the use of music as a biohack.
She was first introduced to these techniques 30 years ago during a visit to a US Navy SEALs base in California. Since then, she has conducted extensive research and helped many organisations put these principles into practice (including working with the NHS, British Olympic teams and corporate employers).
Julia has also published three Amazon bestselling books including The Music Diet and her work in the biohacking field (and the use of music as a biohack) has attracted growing media attention over the past five years.
Julia uses music in a myriad of ways during this live session to bring the science to life in ways that the audience will remember and can easily try and embed into their daily lives.
Tickets for ‘The Music Diet and how it could benefit your business’ can be booked through the Leicester Business Festival website.
