The shop is Steamin' Billy's latest addition to the Oadby-based development.
Having recently refurbished The Cow & Plough pub at Stoughton Grange in Oadby, the extensive Farm Shop is the latest improvement to the area.
It will join other new retail businesses in offering a high quality local shopping experience to nearby residents and visitors.
Visitors can look forward to a range of fresh, local produce from the on-site butchers and deli counter. They're selling bread from Hambleton Bakery, a great selection of cakes and biscuits, as well as takeaway coffees and other drinks.
Following a full interior refurbishment, the pub now has a one-acre kitchen garden, which is used for growing salads, tomatoes, courgettes, beans, edible flowers, celery, cucumbers, radishes and more.
These are all used in their pub and restaurant menus. The kitchen garden will also offer a new space for visitors to enjoy Afternoon Tea.
Situated on the land of the former Stoughton Farm Park, from August, Steamin' Billy will be bringing back elements of the original site with their own mini farm park opening in August.
There will be alpacas, Shetland ponies, sheep, goats and pigs for guests to visit, as well as enjoying a peddle tractor track, lakeside walks and a picnic area, it will be a wonderful family destination.
"The development at Stoughton Grange has seen us bring together a number of elements we’ve been working on for some time," said Billy Allingham, the managing director of Steamin' Billy. "We’re working with some wonderful local suppliers and are looking forward to offering our customers a fantastic range of products."
Stoughton Grange Farm Shop joins other businesses at the site, including the newly opened Fazakerley Homeware and Gifts, Lollipops Pottery Studio, Dermacare, Andrew Granger Estate Agents and more.
They will be open 7 days a week:
