Leicester is set to witness a significant advancement in dementia care with the launch of award-winning day clubs by The Rainbow Care Group this May.

This initiative aims to offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for individuals living with dementia, spread across three convenient locations within the city.

The clubs will operate from St Andrews Church in Jarrom Street, Oadby Tennis Club in Leicester Road, and Glen Parva Memorial Hall in Dorothy Avenue.

In a press release, The Rainbow Care Group said: "The launch of these award-winning dementia day clubs in Leicester marks a beacon of hope and support for families affected by dementia, promising a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

"This initiative represents a significant step forward in dementia care, offering a supportive and engaging environment for individuals to thrive.

"[Our] approach is distinctly person-centered, aiming to integrate each individual's interests into the day's activities to ensure a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

"This method not only respects the unique preferences of each participant but also significantly contributes to the quality of life and overall well-being of those living with dementia."
