Once home to the Everard family, The Stamford Arms pub is seeking a new owner since current business owner, Brian Rigby, is retiring.

Brian has been at the pub for over 10 years and after 25 years in the trade, he is ready for a new challenge and to pass the Stamford onto someone who can love it as much as he has.

According to Everards, The Stamford Arms provides a fantastic opportunity to take on a solid and well-established business, with exceptional trading space.

“This is a fab pub vacancy we have had come up. Anyone looking to run a pub in Leicestershire, really should get in touch with us as the Stamford Arms in Groby is now available,” an Everards representative told us.

“This is a busy community pub with high expectations from its customers. This will suit someone who is ready to get hands-on and throw themselves into the wonderful village life and community of Groby and all the joy that brings.

"Knowledge of how food businesses work would be a great advantage, as would a passion for real ales and keeping the community entertained through events, occasions, and charity support.”

The pub really does offer something for everyone and attracts families, professionals, the young at heart, couples and those looking for a great vibe on a night out.
