The course consists of 130 hours of guided learning.
Anicca Digital, a Leicester digital agency, have announced the launch of a 12-week skills bootcamp.
The bootcamp leads to a high-level qualification from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses that give people the opportunity to build up tech skills and provide expert help reaching an interview with a local employer.
The new accreditation will help more people develop new skills, awarding 60% to 100% discounts on the cost of a course to those aged 19 and over who qualify.
Founder and CEO of Anicca Digital, Ann Stanley comments: “There has never been a more important time to have digital marketing skills, whatever someone’s age or background.
"The DMI qualification will not only broaden someone’s knowledge, but also set them apart from others in the marketplace.
"This is a significant opportunity for those living in Leicester or the East Midlands who are new to digital, or those looking to learn new marketing techniques.”
They are being developed by the Government as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs and will lead to a Level 5 DMI qualification.
The delivery of this qualification has been made possible after Anicca Digital was awarded the coveted D2N2Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) trainer provider accreditation.
The new accreditation will help more people develop new skills, awarding 60% to 100% discounts on the cost of a course to those aged 19 and over who qualify.
The course consists of 130 hours of guided learning and can be taken up as part of a work placement via an employer, or through an independent sign-up.
