The leading global professional services firm is strengthening its team.
Aon plc provides commercial risk, health, reinsurance and wealth solutions to all its Leicestershire-based clients, from SMEs to large corporates. It has invested in specialist expertise, with five new appointments as well as four internal promotions.
Leading the promotions is Paul Winrow, who has been promoted to head of office. With a career spanning 22 years, most recently as client management director, Paul will draw on his vast experience of managing a portfolio of clients to ensure they receive the highest levels of service and best outcomes. He will also use his experience of managing teams by developing colleagues and driving a positive and supportive culture.
"We continue to invest in our capabilities and future through the acquisition of highly skilled talent and by providing a supportive culture that places colleagues at the forefront," said Paul. "All new starters and long-term colleagues are provided with a progressive career path, structured training, mentoring, and a flexible and inclusive working environment.
"I’d like to congratulate everyone on their well-deserved promotions. I'd also like to welcome our newest colleagues, who have further strengthened the team with their wealth of experience, local market knowledge and expertise."
Daryl Burgess, who has 25 years’ industry experience, has been promoted to client director and will manage the insurance programmes for a wide range of clients across the private and public sector, including those with a global presence. In addition, he will act as senior relationship manager, coordinating clients across Aon’s various divisions.
Katie Millward has been promoted to client service manager and Victoria Brett to client service specialist. In her new role, Katie is responsible for overseeing a team of four client service advisers, building client relationships, and assisting directors and managers with business development. Victoria will draw on her 34 years’ industry experience and support client service advisers with technical queries and training, as well as dealing with client renewals and adjustments.
"I have worked at Aon for 23 years in a number of roles," said Katie. "The company has always been extremely supportive of employees wishing to further their careers internally.
"Aon organised for me to attend management training and gave me more responsibilities to ensure I was prepared and able to secure my new role. I’m excited to oversee and help develop the team of client service advisers. The Aon Leicester office is a great place to work and colleagues work collaboratively to ensure that all clients receive excellent service."
In addition, there have been five appointments. Laura Jennings joins as business development manager, Gunjan Pancholi as broking manager, Mathew Undenge as client manager, Adam Waterstreet as claims management executive, and Lynton Hinds as client service adviser.
