Communications agency transforms craft soft drinks brand into million-pound business

Leicester-based marketing agency, IvyJack Communications, have contributed significantly to the phenomenal success of soft drinks company Soda Folk.

As a result of their strategic marketing and creative communication strategy, IvyJack have helped put Soda Folk on track to achieve a staggering 350% growth in sales this year - despite the difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The agency fought off stiff competition as part of a competitive pitch to win the business, thanks to their distinctive approach to marketing and brand building.

Working in close partnership with Soda Folk’s Managing Director, IvyJack led the brand’s development and clearly focused on reaching the business’s three core audiences of consumers, retailers and the restaurant trade.

At a time when customers were less able to go out to purchase, IvyJack helped Soda Folk remain front of mind and available to buy.

A targeted social media campaign combined with a new Soda Folk ecommerce website – which was designed and built in record time – ensured customers could purchase directly from the company.

As a result of the agency’s contribution, Soda Folk are predicting 2021 will be their best year ever in terms of market share and topline sales.

IvyJack Director, David Formby, commented “It’s always great to work with a brand that has huge potential and a strong story to tell. From the outset, it was clear that Soda Folk was one such brand.

"Everything was there, including a new management team that wanted to shake things up, which gave us the freedom to deliver some exceptional work both strategically and creatively and ultimately to deliver some outstanding sales results without the luxury of a huge media budget.”

Simon Waterfall, Soda Folk Managing Director, added: “The past year has been extremely challenging for all businesses. However, not only were we able to sustain our position in the market, we actually managed to grow.

"IvyJack played a critical role in this success, offering valuable recommendations on how to navigate the crisis and providing agile support so that we emerged stronger than before.”
