It's Leicester's newest hotel. will be managed by Chris Harrington.
Set to open on July 4, Hotel Brooklyn will be managed by Chris Harrington.
Having previously served as Hotel Manager with Viking Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line, Chris brings valuable experience to Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester.
He'll be looking after the day-to-day delivery of the city's newest property.
"I'm relishing the opportunity to set Hotel Brooklyn Leicester to sail," said Chris.
"It's exciting and a really ambitious project. It pulls all of my skills together allowing my ambition to help deliver a new and unique hotel product to the UK audience.
"I can’t wait to get started."
The new Hotel Brooklyn is a sister to the multi-award-winning version in Manchester.
The Leicester hotel sits adjacent to the Welford Road Stadium (home of the Leicester Tigers), and - like its older sibling - is inspired by the New York borough. It features an industrial aesthetic, impressive atrium, and exposed brickwork.
The new building has 191 bedrooms, with the hub of the hotel being "The Lair" - an open plan bar, restaurant and vibrant living space.
The hotel's philosophy is built around superb design, with access for all and careful thought to anyone needing special care - all true to the Brooklyn brand. As is the case in Manchester, the hotel will push the boundaries of what facilities a hotel offers as 'the norm', for guests and staff alike.
Hotel Brooklyn has established a partnership with Leicester College, proudly providing a pipeline to hospitality employment.
Having received over 400 applicants for its full roster of 78 jobs, the hotel's new team will be fighting fit by the appropriately-timed July 4 opening.
"The opening of our Leicester hotel is probably more exciting than our first in Manchester," said Paul Bayliss MBE, Regional General Manager for Bespoke Hotels.
"The hotel has everything the Brooklyn brand stands for."
Nightly rates at Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester start from £90 for a Club Room on a B&B basis.
