Media agency partners with Leicestershire County Cricket Club while rebranding is in full swing

The sporting venue reopened in May.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club (CCC) has announced Cross Productions will be working with the club as an official media partner for 2021.

The relationship will look to develop and continue to increase the club’s reach, specifically focusing on the business to business (B2B) sector, as it moves ahead with its plans to also become an events venue after developing the brand of the Leicestershire CCC team as the Running Foxes.

As advocates of all things Leicester, Cross Productions - which supports businesses of all sizes with strategic marketing and consistency, enabling the businesses to progress and grow - is well-suited to the official media partner title.

Leicestershire CCC CEO Sean Jarvis said: “We’re delighted to be working with Cross Productions as Media Partner of Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

"The partnership will help us reach a new audience and deliver the message of our new era, that we’re calling the New Breed, out to the very successful business community in Leicestershire.”

Cross Productions Jenny Cross CEO said: “Leicestershire County Cricket Club has been part of the Leicestershire community for many years with history dating back as early as the 1700s.

"Having won the County Championship three times in 1975, 1996, and 1998 as well as winning the T20 Competition in 2004, 2006, and 2011, the club has certainly helped in putting Leicester on the map.

"Reopening in May this year as an outstanding venue, the club are going to be offering so much more. With plans to host different events, it’s going to become a place for our community to gather and make great memories.”
