The #NicheBizAwards 2022 will return to Athena this September to celebrate the success of Leicestershire-based businesses.
Headline sponsor Leicester Castle Business School has been influential in the run-up to this year's event. As one of only a handful of schools chosen to run the Government's Help to Grow: Management programme for small businesses, the higher education team has promoted the Niche Business Awards to their contacts in support of the SMEs it celebrates.
With one month to go until the ceremony, judges are finalising their winners, the Cross Productions team is adding the final touches to the event, and guests are buying tickets.
A Back to the Future theme will see 3D effects and unique entertainment with a three-course dinner and interactive games with audience participation encouraged.
Money raised on the night through games and donations will be gifted to the winner of the Charity of the Year category, which will be announced on the night.
Winners from 16 categories will be announced on the night, one of which is not open to public nomination. The Community Champion award is chosen by the headline sponsor based on an individual's commitment to their community and the difference they have made. Last year's winner was Zinthiya Ganeshpanchan from The Zinthiya Trust.
The event will take place at Athena on Friday, September 2.
Tickets are £95+VAT each, or £900+VAT for a table of 10.
